Our Story
​
In Fall of 2018 we chose to leave our corporate jobs and set out to explore the world. While traveling through Europe we fell in love with one Eastern European dessert in particular, the trdelník (aka chimney cake). If you have been to the Czech Republic in the last 8 years, you know exactly what we are talking about. The sweet aroma of this handmade, delectable dessert is hard to miss while walking through the streets of Prague. After indulging in this unique treat we quickly became obsessed and wished we could share it with our family and friends back home. But that was the problem...this amazing dessert was nowhere to be found in the Twin Cities. That's when we set out on a mission to bring chimney cakes to Minnesota.

OUR TRAINING
Our travels took us to Slovenia where we attended the official chimney cake training program at the Kurtos Academy in Murska Sobota. During this certification program we learned about the rich history of kürtÅ‘skalács (chimney cakes) and perfected the skills necessary to guarantee an authentic, top-quality product and experience for our chimney cake lovers.
